Theo is a ballerina who pushes herself to the limits, striving for perfection, but yearning for escape from the strictures she imposes on herself. She’s a girl with a whole lot going on, but Pointe never gets confusing or overwhelming. Brandy Colbert has penned an emotional and gripping coming-of-age story about a girl searching for grace amid harrowing shadows. Brandy Colbert’s Pointe is all about how Theo handles the changes and disruptions in her life. ![]()
